can't answer that one - hasn't happened yet.

loving, often together, but doesn't go too deep when it comes to conversations

    who is your favorite relative?
super hard to answer - maybe aunt elise?

    dark turquoise

if you could travel anywhere in the US, where would you want to go?
    Yellowstone National Park

    what's your favorite breakfast food?
peanut butter and banana oatmeal OR wheat bread with peanut butter and bananas on top sprinkled with cinnamon - noticing a theme? :)

why are you currently doing what you're doing?
the Lord called me here, but I'm heading back home tonight!

if you could change one thing about your life, what would it be?
learning how to cook and enjoying it at an earlier age... just started this year basically.

how would you describe your personality?
i used to think i was really easy to get to know, but i've realized that i'm pretty closed until i know someone well. i love to laugh. i don't enjoy conflict, but i don't run from it. i'm learning to speak up for myself more. i'm pretty flexible and enjoy spontaneity.

  2. who was your first love?
tough to answer...I thought I was in love in high school with a guy named Jared, but looking back, it wasn't really love...

    what is your family like?
hard to define...extremely mixed, full of differing interests and opinions

    who is your favorite relative?
wow, I've never thought about this...I'm gonna go with my step-mom's parents (they're a package deal) -- they've been the #1 example in my life of what it looks like to love the Lord in marriage and every day life

if you had to wear one color every day, what color would you choose?
initially I wanted to go with black, but that's so boring (and potentially goth looking), so possibly purple, which is funny because it's always been one of my least favorite colors, but there are lots of shades that work well for my skin tone -- and dark purple has grown on me recently

if you could travel anywhere in the US, where would you want to go?
    Alaska or the Grand Canyon

    what's your favorite breakfast food?
Well I LOVE a lot of breakfast foods, but I'm going to go with egg and cheese on an egg bagel.

why are you currently doing what you're doing?
I'm filling this out because I've always secretly loved these kind of things...

if you could change one thing about your life, what would it be?
I'd want to take all the people I love and care about to FL with us

how would you describe your personality?
hmmm...chaotically organized, shy but friendly, somewhat type-A but rarely take charge....pretty much I'm a big oxymoron.

    what's your most embarrassing moment?
In high school, a friend and I were going to another friend's house. (I had been there several times, but always walked in the side door.) We walked up to the front door and knocked. The people yelled to come in, so we walked in to the house to find several couples in their 40's (not any of our friends)...we were in the wrong house!

    what was your proudest moment?
I've narrowed this down to proudest moment recently and that is only having 1 student (out of 60) fail the SOL.

what do you want to do before you die?
I'd love to see my son accept Christ

if you could make a heaven out of things you've experienced on earth, what would it look like?
There would be mountains and constant sunrise/sunset. Maybe crystal clear water somewhere in there too...

  3. who was your first love?
I'm going to answer this one a little differently and say - my daddy. you'd love him too if you met him.

    what is your family like?
comfortable. there is always a lot of incredible food around, a lot of laughter and teasing, and a lot of love. they all have a special ability of making others feel right at home.

    who is your favorite relative?
I have a huge family, and everyone is dear to my heart. In this past year, I've felt especially close to my Aunt Ellen. she is a barrel of laughs. she is also an incredible servant and a pillar in our family. we spent a lot of time at my grandma's bedside together before she passed.

if you had to wear one color every day, what color would you choose?
blue, mostly navy. (jackie, I almost picked black first too, and then I was going to say purple! I'm stickin' with navy though)

if you could travel anywhere in the US, where would you want to go?
west coast- I want to hit California, Oregon and Washington all in one big, long trip

    what's your favorite breakfast food?
    hash browns

why are you currently doing what you're doing?
because I saw God's hand in it (and still do).

if you could change one thing about your life, what would it be?
I'd like to have the vacation time + money to do more traveling. I'd LOVE to travel the world. this couple has been to many of the places I'd like to go.

how would you describe your personality?
why did I ask this question? I hate answering these.
I'm really honest. I tell it like it is. I'm a natural leader. I love to make people laugh, and I think I do it well. Or, maybe I just make friends with the people who laugh at my jokes. :) Words of affirmation and physical touch are my two love languages.

    what's your most embarrassing moment?
    I'm embarrassed to tell you.
When I was in middle school my friend Laurel was having dinner with us, and so was one of my parent's friends. In the middle of dinner I turned to Laurel and said, "You know what's a weird word? Dildo." I then repeated it several times just to prove how weird of a word it is. I don't remember the adults saying a word, but Laurel was practically hyperventilating. She pulled me away from the table and explained to me what I had said. Yeah. Mortifying.

    what was your proudest moment?
this isn't my proudest moment EVER (who knows what is), but my proudest moment this year was getting my job at the Daily News-Record and having so many people react with excitement and encouragement. like I said...words of affirmation mean the world to me.

what do you want to do before you die?
    be a mom

if you could make a heaven out of things you've experienced on earth, what would it look like?
it would be like if all of my friends and family rented a huge beach house for eternity. The house would have a huge porch with lots of hammocks and tables for playing games. There would be a huge room filled with books and a kitchen filled with everything my mom and sister would need to feed everyone (haha). The front of the house would face the beach, the back of the house would face a huge lake surrounded by mountains. There would be jetskis, kayaks, ziplines, bikes, skis... it would be a forever vacation.
